CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on manual therapy which allows skilled clinicians to evaluate and enhance the function of the CranioSacral system, the environment in which the brain and spinal cord function. The craniosacral system consists of the bones of the skull, face, mouth and the spinal column down to the sacrum, the membranes inside these structures and the cerebral spinal fluid that supports and protects the brain and spinal cord delivering its vital nutrients.
Any restrictions or imbalances of the craniosacral system can directly affect the central nervous system and potentially leading sensory, motor and neurological disabilities, as well as physical and psychological problems.
CranioSacral Therapy works by promoting the bodies own natural healing mechanism restoring balance in the central nervous system, improving motor co-ordination, sensory perception, range of motion, neuromuscular function and enhancing vitality.
CranioSacral Therapy is suitable for all ages from newborns up through all life stages to adulthood and old age. It can treat a wide range of conditions and through Somato Emotions Release (SER) it allows the body release emotional issues which are manifesting as physical problems.
